historic Hand Hollow. We are surrounded by the 1,138 acre Hand
Hollow State Forest and the 433 acre Hand Hollow Conservation Area,
yet we're still only minutes away from the restaurants and shops of
nearby New Lebanon.
Make
this 3 bedroom Berkshire cottage your year-round escape, conveniently
located not far from the Taconic State Parkway and I-90, just 2 hours
and 45 minutes from New York City, 2 and a half hours from Boston.
Enjoy
easy access to the nearby music, art, and theatre of rural Columbia
County in Upstate New York and the Beautiful Berkshire Hills of
Massachusetts. Your haven sits at the center of four season culture
and recreation, only a short drive away from the Village of Chatham,
New York and the Town of Lenox, Massachusetts. We are 20 minutes
from the Bousquet Mountain Ski Area and the Jiminy Peak Mountain
Resort.
If
you're an outdoor enthusiast or just looking to relax and get back to
nature, take advantage of thousands of acres of protected land open
for hiking, kayaking, and fishing, including some just a short walk
down the road.

Hand
Hollow Haven seeks to accommodate those
who suffer from Environmental Illnesses, including Microwave Radiation
Syndrome, the EMS Disabled, and those with Multiple-Chemical
Sensitivity, through wired connections and natural cleansers.
Access to a landline telephone is provided. There is no wifi. There are no smart devices. There
are no smart meters. (There is an old-fashioned analog electric
meter.) There are no LED or Compact Fluorescent Bulbs within Haven House.
(There are incandescent lights.) Access to a DVD player is included with the rental.
We
ask that guests place their smart phones,
laptops, tablets, or any other device that emits wireless radiation, into airplane mode while they are on the property.
Devices not in use should be turned off and stored in the complementary Mylar storage bags.
